A Day In the Life

My husband is currently putting our oldest son, 2 yr. old Noel (as in Gallagher), to bed. They are singing "Paperback Writer". I am here at the computer with 3 mo. old Lennon (as in John), trying to type my first blog post while he sits here sucking his thumb. This is our life. We are surrounded by books (children's, "big people's", and movie & TV tie-in's that my husband sells), CDs, LPs, and MP3s by the thousands, and collectible 70s memorabilia (including an original Banana Splits vinyl lunch box & a Brady Bunch board game signed by Flo Henderson & Barry Williams). I type this from my dining room/"office" which includes a few boxes of eBay stuff tucked in the corners, my day job work filling up the table, a bookshelf full of books about things like bubble gum records and Tiki decor, and three posters: The Osmond Brothers (in an exciting array of plaid and stripes), Oasis, and John Lennon. There's even a little electric organ on the floor that Noel bangs on quite a bit. Yes, this is our Wacky Pak, Fruit-Stripe gum life...and it's as close to perfect as it can be.
